What is a refillable vape pod?

A refillable vape pod is a plastic e-liquid cartridge designed for open pod systems. Unlike sealed prefilled pods, it features a fill port that allows you to manually refill the reservoir with your choice of bottled e-liquid.

How do you refill a vape pod?

Unplug the silicone fill port locatedon the side, bottom, or top of the pod cartridge. Insert your e-liquid bottle nib, fill the reservoir gently while leaving a tiny air gap, then securely reseal the stopper.

How do refillable vape pods work?

Refillable pods attach to a rechargeable battery. When activated, the battery powers an internal heating element wrapped in cotton. This heating element warms the absorbed e-liquid to produce vapour, which travels up the mouth piece for inhalation.

How often should you replace a vape coil?

A vape coil typically lasts between one and two weeks. Actual longevity varies depending on your daily vaping frequency, the sweetness of your e-liquid, and whether you allow the coil to stay properly saturated during use.

How do you know when a vape coil needs replacing?

Common signs include a noticeable drop in flavour quality, a persistent burnt or acrid taste, reduced vapour output, dark discolouration of the liquid in your pod, or unexpected leaking and gurgling from the base.

How do you prime a new vape coil?

Fill your pod with e-liquid and let it sit untouched for ten minutes before taking your first draw. This ensures the internal cotton wicking material is completely saturated, preventing dry hits and immediate coil burnout.

Why does my vape coil taste burnt?

A burnt taste occurs when the internal wicking cotton is dry when heated. This usually happens if you vape before properly priming a fresh coil, use excessive wattage, or let your pod run completely empty while vaping.

Can you use any coil in a refillable pod?

No. Refillable pods are engineered for specific coil series designed by that hardware manufacturer. Many modern pods also feature integrated fixed coils, meaning the entire plastic pod is replaced rather than just the metal heating component.
